Tala
Last Friday, 26 October, Tala, a 7 year old girl was walking back home after visiting her grandpa and got caught in the crossfire. That evening, Tala told her story through pictures and words.
I was with my mother, aunt and sister on the street when the shooting started. My mother was terrified, she shouted… I was scared and started crying… Dana, my sister started running…My mother told her not to run… But Dana replied “I am scared from the shooting”…
A man came then driving a car, (he pulled to the side), yet before going out of his car, the Israeli started shooting again… My mother told him to come to the sheltered corner where we were hiding…
Then gunmen appeared… The Israeli continue to shoot over our heads… We saw then a man bleeding and the ambulance coming to pick him up”.
