AJYAL Program
On September 15th. Dar al-Kalima
Health & Wellness in cooperation with Christmas Lutheran Church center
have launched the first parish nurse program in Palestine. Ajyal was
chosen as the name of this program which means “Generations”.
AJYAL is designed to
combine spiritual educational, recreational and health services to
bring hope and healing to the elderly population of Christian faith in
Bethlehem. AJYAL is currently a pilot project envisioned to serve
30-50 people and is in its preparatory stages.
However,
our vision aims at making AJYAL a continuous program with its own
premises and serving a wider range of beneficiaries.
The program
is operated by a local nurse and offers the following services:
