- Bethlehem Youth Music Festival
Palestinian Swedish Cultural Encounter
Between June 22-24, 2006, The International Center of Bethlehem (Dar Annadwa Addawliyya) and the Swedish Christian Study Centre BILDA hosted the second annual Bethlehem Music Youth Festival. Young Palestinian and Swedish teenagers interested in the arts met and exchanged their cultures and talents and cooperated in a unique program.
The center was pleased with the turn out of the three days affair. Approximately 500 people attended the festival, and left pleased and entertained.
The mixture between oriental and western music was very unique and all dance shows were superbly performed. Organizers as well as artists on both sides worked hard to make this event happen and everyone involved looks forward for Dandanat 2007.
