The development of ‘democracy and participation’ in our society is a major challenge in our daily work with children and young people. Beside the knowledge of the different subjects in our ‘Bright stars’ programs, our multipliers need ‘leadership-capacities’ which also include different tools of pedagogic work and social competencies as well.

Our curriculum of the ‘leadership-training’ include 10 steps:

• Definitions of democracy and participation
• Communication skills
• Leadership-styles and skills
• Teambuilding and teamwork
• Diversity: to be different and to be equal
• ‘Learning by doing?’ – How to learn
• Dealing with difficult situations and conflicts
• Project management
• The concept of the ‘Future Workshop’
• Gatherings and group sessions
