"The Cave" Arts & Crafts Workshops have adopted a unique approach which seeks to enliven cultural and aesthetic appreciation in Palestine, revive traditional handcrafts, and provide economic and cultural livelihood for Palestinian women.

Our model is one of vertical consolidation: teaching skills through workshops and master classes, giving artists the space and access to materials to practice their arts, and providing a venue for marketing their goods.  In this way, previously unemployed women are learning new skills and earning money to support themselves and their families, and Palestinian artists have a space to practice and a supportive community to encourage them.
