The Bethlehem Media Center (BMC)
“Giving Voice to the Voiceless”

The BMC aims at empowering the Palestinians to tell their stories, promoting the human face of the Palestinian people and their religious communities and encouraging better and more balanced media coverage on the Palestine/Israel issue. It is created to:

• Empower children, youth and women through hands-on media training programs to speak out, relate their experiences and become proactive in determining their future.

• Provide working media professionals in the area an opportunity for continued growth through hands-on training programs.

• Offer services to local and international media persons through our studio, equipment, personnel, networks, and know-how.

• Network with local and international media outlets thus allowing for the exchange of know-how and experiences

• Expand the scope of outreach activities and strengthen ties between local and international media persons.

Facilities include a studio for recording, training and broadcasting, an editing room, a testing center and an Internet club.
