July Newsletter
Dear friends,
Much of the world’s attention on our area is now centered on the starts and stops of the
Road Map, especially the redeployment of the Israeli Military forces out of Bethlehem. In this newsletter we invite you to read reflections on these issues from Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, and Rev. Sandra Olewine.
While the test of whether the Road Map will really lead to a new future for Palestinians and Israelis is still months away, Dar Annadwa celebrates that it is a place where tangible good news is available today.
In this month’s newsletter, we highlight our Bright Stars 2003 Summer Academy, where almost 200 children are gathered for classes in art, music, computers, chess, tourism and sports. Throughout the month of July we will be updating you regularly with a photo gallery, depicting the various activities of the academy.
We also included details on our events schedule for July including the International Songs of Freedom Festival. In addition we have included reviews of just a few of the events from June.
If you want to truly celebrate “Good News,” then we encourage you to visit our web site at: www.annadwa.org.
We thank you for your on-going support and interest.
